The Socioenvironmental Research Center Bangladesh (SRCB) was established in 2024 in Rangpur, Bangladesh, with the aim of providing insights and guidance for the welfare of the people. The center conducts interdisciplinary research on policy and development to solve problems, mitigate challenges, and improve living standards. It takes an original approach to research, training, and knowledge sharing for the development of the country and the international communities. The center consists of various bodies, groups, boards, and teams, including an advisory group, research teams, administrative teams, education and training teams, field operational management teams, data management teams, publications and communications teams, and other related teams. The Director of SRCB forms a committee to appoint personnel for specific periods, and approves its operational and managerial budget annually. The center also collaborates with national and international organizations on research, conducting comprehensive surveys and studies in national geographical areas and research in international peripheries.
