Professor Dr. Md. Nurul Momen is an advisor (voluntarily for research and knowledge purposes) at the Socioenvironmental Research Center Bangladesh (SRCB). Mr. Nurul Momen is working as a chairman and professor in the Department of Public Administration at the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. He also holds the position of Director of the Career Counselling and Development Center at the University of Rajshahi. Mr. Nurul Momen was awarded his PhD degree on “Politics, Human Rights, and Sustainability” from the Sant’ Anna School of Advanced Studies, Italy, in 2013. He completed his MSS degree from the University of Bergen, Norway, in 2010. He also completed his MSS and BSS degrees in the Department of Public Administration of the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh, in 2000 and 1999, respectively. Mr. Nurul Momen implemented a research project as a Sub-Project Manager (SPM) titled ‘Enhancing the Quality of Postgraduate Teaching and Research (EQPTR)’ organized by the Ministry of Education of Bangladesh, managed by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh, and funded by the IDA-World Bank. Duration: 1 July 2014–30 June 2017. Along with this, Mr. Nurul Momen has received many academic awards and recognitions from universities and centers. Mr. Nurul Momen has experience holding various memberships in academic institutions, institutes, councils, associations, samiti, and organizations. During his professional life, he supervised many students pursuing their advanced degrees. He is still supervising some students as they pursue PhD degrees from their respective departments or institutes. He published many books, chapters, research articles, conference papers, books, editorials, etc. on multidimensional issues. He also participated in lots of national and international conferences and workshops in or outside of the country.
