Mst. Ummkulsum Tauhida Akter is working as a fundraising manager at Socioenvironmental Research Center Bangladesh (SRCB). The main responsibility of hers is to write research proposals in response to requirements by the funding agencies. She received her Ph.D. from the Institute of Bangladesh Studies, University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. Prior, she completed an MBA and a BBA in Management Studies at Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur. She has gathered expertise about workplace gender-based violence and its impact on workers’ well-being and work performance, as well as decent work, labor law, and international labor standards. She has acquired knowledge about research frames and methodology. She has written articles on redress measures for gender-based violence and workplace consequences of gender-based violence. Her research interest areas are workplace gender-based violence, work performance, international labor standards, decent work, child labor, forced labor, social dialogue, the gender wage gap, and research methodology.
